Brand strategy rooted in clarity, culture, and intention.
Denise Reid is the founder of Purple Mango Co., a strategy-first brand and content systems consultancy built for founders who are done guessing and ready to grow with purpose.
I built Purple Mango because founders deserve better than guesswork.
Before founding Purple Mango Co., I spent over a decade working inside and alongside brands. I watched smart, talented founders create brilliant products and then struggle to communicate their value in a way that moved people. The gap was never the offer. It was always the strategy.
I saw founders posting constantly and hearing nothing back. Pivoting their messaging every few months hoping something would stick. Investing in content production before they had a content foundation. Measuring success by follower counts while their pipelines stayed empty.
I built Purple Mango to close that gap. To give founders the strategic infrastructure that makes their brand and content decisions intentional, sustainable, and connected to actual business outcomes.
Purple Mango is not a posting agency. It is a strategy house. We do not begin with execution. We begin with understanding. We build systems that make the execution that follows meaningful.
Strategy before execution.
We do not create anything until we understand what it needs to accomplish and why. Every engagement starts with clarity, not content.
Systems over volume.
One intentional campaign built on a strong foundation will always outperform fifty pieces of reactive content. We build for depth, not frequency.
Culturally rooted, strategically driven.
Brand strategy that ignores cultural context is incomplete. We center the full humanity of your brand and your audience in every strategic decision we make.
Founders deserve real frameworks.
Proprietary thinking tools, not generic templates, are what separate sustainable brand growth from the endless cycle of starting over.
Clarity is a prerequisite, not a nice-to-have.
You cannot scale what you cannot clearly explain. Before any content is created, any campaign is built, or any audience is grown, we establish brand clarity: a documented foundation that makes every downstream decision easier, faster, and more effective.
The best brand strategy feels like a conversation, not a broadcast.
Founders who win with content are not the loudest ones in the room. They are the most relevant. Their content responds to what their audience is actually experiencing. It earns trust because it is built on genuine understanding, not manufactured urgency.
Proprietary thinking is a competitive advantage.
Any founder can create content. Founders who grow intentionally have a system: a documented way of making decisions that is uniquely theirs. The FRUIT Method and Root to Fruit Architecture are not just tools we use. They are frameworks we teach so your brand operates from its own strategic intelligence.
Culture is not a differentiator. It is the foundation.
At Purple Mango, we believe that brands built with cultural awareness, brands that genuinely see and speak to the full identity of their audience, do not just perform better. They build communities. They create belonging. And they grow in ways that are both sustainable and meaningful.
The right fit makes all the difference.
Purple Mango is not for everyone. That is by design. Here is an honest look at who I work with best, and who might be better served elsewhere.
This is exactly who I built Purple Mango for.
- You are a service-based founder with at least 12 months of traction
- You have a strong offer but feel like your messaging is not landing
- You are done creating content that goes nowhere and want a real system
- You are ready to invest in strategy before you invest in more content production
- You value documented frameworks over vibes and generic advice
- You are building for sustainable growth, not viral moments
You might be better served by a different partner.
- You are looking for someone to manage your social media accounts
- You need a content creation or ghostwriting service
- You are in the very early idea stage with no business traction yet
- You want someone to tell you what to post, not how to think strategically
- You are looking for quick wins rather than sustainable infrastructure
- You are not yet ready to slow down and build clarity before executing
